Siberia

Right now I'm reading the second part of the two part series "Travel in Siberia" in the New Yorker, written by Ian Frazier. The article is fascinating, things like.. there are 8 time zones in Siberia and it constitutes 1/12 of all land on earth. And apparently, from the looks of it in this photo by Carl De Keyzer, there are enormous snow horses.

Hey :)

Its always interesting to read travelers notes and memories about the place you was born...I was born there. There not only enormous horses...its snowing almost 9 months a year. Some people think its pretty depressing, but if you think about it there are so much fun in the snow - skiing, skating, sculpturing and ...it's white! :)

Frazier also has a wonderful sense of humour, which you definitely need on this kind of trip.
